Dr David W Lyle (m)

MB., BS., (London 1978) DRCOG MRCGP

I am a full time GP who has worked in the partnership since 1983.  For 25 years I was visiting physician at the Sue Ryder hospice and retired from that in 2010.  The care of elderly with multi-system disease has become a necessary part of my experience but I maintain an interest in all age groups and health issues.

Dr Nicholas J Young (m)

MB., ChB., (Birmingham 1983) DRCOG

Graduated from Birmingham in 1983 and joined the practice as a full time partner in 1989.  After joining the practice I worked for a number of years as a clinical assistant to one of the wings at the Sue Ryder hospice, then spent a number of years as a member of the Professional Executive Committee of the local Primary Care Trust.  My areas of interest include palliative care, rheumatology and sports injury.

Dr John C Bramwell (m)

MB., BS., (London 1984) DRCOG DCH

Qualified in London in 1984 and joined the practice as a partner in 1990.  Dr. Bramwell takes a lead role in diabetic care and child health but sees all general health problems.  He is the lead partner for IT at the practice.

Dr Diane Marson (f)

MB., BS., (London 1987) DRCOG

Qualified in London in 1987 and joined the practice as a partner in 1994.  Dr. Marson sees all general health problems but has a special interest in women’s health, dementia and those patients with learning difficulties.  She is the surgery research lead.

Dr Jillian W Vernon-Smith (f)

MB., BS., (London 1990)

Dr. Jill Vernon-Smith trained at Guy’s Hospital in London and qualified in 1990.  She did GP training at Eastbourne and then worked in New Zealand for a few years.  She has been a partner at the practice since 1997.  Her special interests are women’s health, teen health and paediatrics.  Dr. Vernon-Smith is the practice lead for smears and prescribing.

Dr Sarah A Wilkinson (f)

BM., BS., (Nottingham 1994) DRCOG MRCGP

Qualifed in 1994 at Nottingham and joined the practice in 2001.  Dr. Wilkinson has special interests in women’s health, dermatology and minor surgery.

Dr Sophie K Burrows (f)

MB., BS., (London 1984) DA DRCOG MRCGP LLM

Dr. Burrows trained in London and has worked in Gloucestershire for over 20 years.  She is interested in dermatology and all aspects of General practice.
