Dr Nicholas J Young (m)

MBChB., (Birmingham 1983) DRCOG

Graduated from Birmingham in 1983 and joined the practice as a full time partner in 1989.  After joining the practice he worked for a number of years as a clinical assistant to one of the wings at the Sue Ryder hospice, he then spent a number of years as a member of the Professional Executive Committee of the local Primary Care Trust.  His areas of interest include palliative care, rheumatology and sports injury.

Dr John C Bramwell (m)

MB., BS., (London 1984) DRCOG DCH

Dr Bramwell qualified in London in 1984 and joined the practice as a partner in 1990.  He takes a lead role in diabetic care and child health but sees all general health problems.  He is the lead partner for IT at the practice.

Dr Diane Marson (f)

MB., BS., (London 1987) DRCOG

Dr Marson qualified in London in 1987 and joined the practice as a partner in 1994.  She sees all general health problems but has a special interest in women’s health, dementia and those patients with learning difficulties.  She is the surgery research lead.

Dr Jillian W Vernon-Smith (f)

MB., BS., (London 1990)

Dr Jill Vernon-Smith trained at Guy’s Hospital in London and qualified in 1990.  She trained at Eastbourne and then worked in New Zealand for a few years.  She has been a partner at the practice since 1997.  Her special interests are women’s health, teenage health and paediatrics.  Dr. Vernon-Smith is the practice lead for smears and prescribing.

Dr Anna Perks (f)

MBChB., (Leicester 2001) MRCGP, DSRH

Dr Perks joined the practice as a partner in 2014.  Her special interests are Palliative Care, Oncology, Mental Health, and Contraception.

Dr Sarah-Jane Lowe (f)

MBChB (Leicester 1996), MRCGP, DSRH

Dr Lowe joined the practice as a partner in 2016.  Her clinical interests include mental health, respiratory diseases, and diabetes.

 

Dr James Hunt (m)

MRCGP FRACGP

Our newest Partner, Dr Hunt, gained his Medical Degree in 2002 from Cardiff University after spending his younger years in Devon. He then completed a medical rotation at Derriford, Plymouth, Torbay and Torquay Hospitals, working for 5 years in the specialities of Oncology, Haematology, Paediatrics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Geriatric Medicine. After specialising in General Practice in 2008 he gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners which allowed him to work internationally. He spent 5 years working in Australia expanding his skills to include Obstetric care, Minor surgery and Tropical Medicine. 

He enjoys the diverse challenges that general practice provides and his philosophy is to work alongside patients to allow them to enjoy good health by focusing on lifestyle, sound medical interventions, and personal wellbeing.

His areas of interest are Minor Surgery, joint injections and skin lesions, Paediatrics , Infectious Disease and Diabetes

His time away from work is spent with his wife and 3 children. He also enjoys photography, drawing, painting and travel. 

 

Dr Sarah A Wilkinson (f)

BMed Sci, BMBS (Nottingham 1994) DRCOG, DFSRH, LoC IUT LoC SDI, MRCGP, Dip Med Law.

Dr Wilkinson qualifed in 1994 at Nottingham and joined the practice in 2001. She has special interests in women’s health including contraception (providing a Coil and contraceptive implant service), dermatology and minor surgery.

Dr Gill Bogle (f)

MB, BS., (London 1981) DRCOG DFSRH MRCGP

Dr Bogle qualified from the Middlesex Hospital in London in 1981. Since moving to Gloucestershire in 1985, she has worked in General practice, Child Health and Contraception Services. She joined the practice in 2014. Dr Bogle has special interests in women’s health, family planning, sexual health, rheumatology and musculo-skeletal medicine.

 

Dr Sam J Tilley (m)

MbChB (Sheffield 2007) MRCGP


Dr Tilley qualified in 2007 from the University of Sheffield, and gained post-graduate experience in Emergency Medicine and Anaesthetics.


He undertook his training in General Practice in the West Midlands, and joined the practice in 2018.  He has a special interest in Acute and Urgent Care, having completed a post-graduate certificate prior to joining the practice, and diabetes and palliative care.  

Dr Richard Gracie (m)

MbChB Bsc (Hons) 

Dr Gracie qualified in 2012 from University of Birmingham, having previously completed a degree in biology at University of Bath in 2005. He completed training in general practice in Gloucestershire in 2016, and his areas of interest are ENT, oncology and palliative care. 

He works at the Practice on a  Monday, Thursday and Friday.
