Cleevelands Medical Centre
We will be opening our new Cleevelands Medical Centre on Monday 14th January 2019. Our existing Surgeries at Seven Posts and Greyholme will close on Friday 11th January 2019. You will be able to use the existing numbers from both surgeries to contact us by telephone.
Our postal address will be:
Cleevelands Medical Centre, Sapphire Road, Bishops Cleeve, GL52 7YU.
Unfortunately, the postcode is not very accurate for most satellite navigation systems. When you turn off the A435 Evesham Road at the roundabout onto the new Cleevelands housing development, do not turn left onto Amber Road, continue straight ahead and the medical centre is the large white building to the right. Drive past the building and turn right and right again to enter the car park. There is access at the back of the building as well as the front.
Time to book your Flu Vaccination
This year we are required by the NHS to use two different flu vaccines on our patients. Patients aged 64 or under will receive one type of vaccine and patients aged 65 or over will receive another type of vaccine, which has been shown to be more effective with this age group.
Information about the different types of vaccines that we will be using can be found on the NHS Choices Website (www.nhs.uk).
IF YOU MISSED OUR FLU CLINICS AND ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A VACCINE PLEASE COME TO THE SURGERY TO SIT ON OUR 'FLU HOT SEAT' AND ONE OF OUR TEAM WILL BE ABLE TO ADMINISTER IT FOR YOU. PLEASE BOOK IN AT RECEPTION.

Declaration of Earnings
All GP Practices are required to declare the mean net earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. This is required in the interests of greater public accountability recognising GP pay is ultimately funded from tax paid by the public.
The average pay for GPs working in Dr Young and Partners in the last financial year was £45,099 before tax and national insurance. This is for 2 full time GPs, 4 part time GPs and 3 locum GPs (who worked in the practice for more than six months).
